About the author
Linda grew up on an isolated farm in Virginia, where her only outlet for the outside world was reading. Linda graduated from Virginia Baptist Hospital School of Nursing, holds a bachelor’s degree from The College of New Jersey, and a master’s degree from Seton Hall University. She retired from a long career in nursing to live on a lake in South Carolina. After several episodes of life-threatening illnesses, she decided to write her stories for the grandchildren so they could know what was important to her in the years to come.
